MG...thanks very much for the post...I had vaguely heard & read about it before...reading through the wiki article I became surprised to read some "familiar names" like youth with a mission...still very "powerful"/active also in Germany...I know that the eldest daughter of one of the church-members I go to, plans to do one year of voluntary service with youth with a mission in South America (I thought since some time to talk with her father about it)....one of my best friends since leaving TF had some experience with the group in Albania...it sounded "freakingly" similar to TF minus the sex- stuff etc....they have many songs which made their way into main-stream churches...
I thought/think since long, that overcoming TF has also something remotely to do with Germany overcoming the Hitler past..."Hitlerism"...also singling out the Jews & other minorities (falsely)...the genocide/holocaust...the guilt coming with it etc.
to find that all wrapped up under the name of Jesus is really outrageous...but fits into the whole complex of thorough delusion/deception
