This is a song/clip which touched and impressed me deeply just since last week, when I got the video/film finally through ebay-auction...it's fairly much sought after & I even got it dirt cheap with Engl subtitles....the movie ties in historical events about the freedom fighter Bhaghat Singh (see my post in journey e.g.)...prior to independance...also at the times of Gandhi...with current problems of India.. corruption
The lyrics are just beautiful to me ....may be it means something to you too...in general I like a bit more the male Indian singers, I can just yet recall one Indian female singer, who wasn't pitched "too high" for my liking...but never mind...minor details...at some point it even has some Italian flair to it (4:40)...the melody that is (actually bollywood music has often many genres mixed in, like Latin influence via Goa)
