Joshua now banned permanently

Posted by WC (gen. coordinator) on October 10, 2008 at 15:40:34

He didn't like the way he was treated. He told us what he really thought about us all along and that we should shut down exFamily.org. He was back to his raging self and admitted these were actually his true colors. He said he didn't want anything more to do with us or ex-members in general (it's not the first time he's described us as mostly alcoholics doing "no Christian witnessing."), etc.

Well I'm actually relieved. I've now removed the Joshua clutter on genX and his sneak advertising where he pretends to be someone else in order to promote his own forum.

The drawback of removing posts is that there is no more record of what transpired, no demonstration of where who crossed which line and what provoked it if anything. But I think we can live without that drama.

If anyone really wants to know (or loves drama that bad), I can restore the exchanges by putting them in the archives. Or you can do your own research. This episode is almost identical to what happened 5 years ago, and as "Outsider" reminded us (post also removed), the archives are still littered with Joshua clutter, his very ugly comments, the complaints he generated, his very inappropriate responses, etc.

Now that I no longer feel the need to defend his "good" name, if anyone, "BC" for example, thinks we were unfair and singled him out, etc, you might want to Google "site:exfamily.org joshua youth genx" or "site:exfamily.org joshua youth jrny" and see why we might have had reasons for allowing so much leeway to Youthish -- he basically suggested things like mass suicide for TF members and for SG "youth" to rejoin the cult, and gave Ricky a list of things to do, etc. We have many, many more such Joshua jewels, deleted but kept for the record in a safe area.
