Disaster capitalism only works for those who can acquire and engineer products with readily available capital. Either currency or exploitation of human resources, including human labor, will do. That is why capitalism only works for those who have this but not for those who do not have that kind of access. In other words, the rich get richer and the poor get jobs to work. Nothing wrong with work but without having more than the minimum threshold the poor will continually work with no way to enter the upper class of power users of capital. The vast majority (us, the regular hard working layer) will gain something and maybe have a couple of houses and nice vacations but nothing else. Our decisions are confined. The better the job and the better the pay the larger the cage, but most of the really important decisions are not for us to make.
Having said all that, if I am going to be a slave, I'd rather be in the very large cage created by capitalism than the tiny little ones that communism and fascism create.
Even though capitalism only creates an illusion of freedom, the slaves need to have a large amount of freedom to work well.
