Thank you for those comments. It has been a very eventfull nine years for NDN going from being run by an actual FM Member of The Family to gradually turing toward being more of an ex-member website.
I certainly experienced a transformation, even though I have never been in The Family. When I discovered the boards, my wife and I were in a friendship with CM Members of The Family that turned out (unknown to us at the time) to be major leaders of The Family. She had been out of touch since leaving in 1980, and I was just along for the ride. We both wanted to believe that this couple was sincere, and really thought that The Family had grown into a mainstream group of independant missionaries.
It took a while to sort things out, but eventually we did.
Over time, I've watched quite a few people show up, defend the cult, and in time begin to see what they actually have done.
I will miss that, but we have some serious personal challenges right now, and it seems like the rest of the Coordinators are in the same boat.
I am very happy to have received an offer this morning from a trusted person who is willing to host NDN as an archive so all of our material will be available into the future. Most importantly, I was concerned that The Family would purchase the domain name at some future date and point it toward a pro-cult website.
