Farmer, you've provided your own example of Berg's out right lies to his followers. Berg purposely deceived his followers by concocting lies to cover up the reality of his situation in those early years. The real reason he had to "split", i.e., leave the U.S., was because law enforcement was after him. He knew that, but deliberately covered it up with lies that God had given him visions and missions.
