You're right, the word "nostalgia"'s definition doesn't apply for me then and those who don't want to have anything to do anymore with TF cult I see seeing it like that.
The reason why I asked that is just that maybe as me nobody should feel condemned about having have been member of that cult.
I believe some basic good witnessing techniques applied BEFORE the RNR and less after though and really decreasing after the beginning of the FF period, good techniques I say where we learned to approach people anywhere to talk to them about the Christian Salvation Message was much valuable if well done.
A good Salvation Message witness as we know is to really well explain to somebody how he could receive Jesus-Christ as his personal Saviour, what it means seriously and how it should be done with much sincerity backed up with the best Salvation verses too.
There was that we could be PROUD of much to have done in different ways using street witnessing, door witnessing or singing to attract people too.
About how much the Mo letters weakened that good witnessing, I can't say the percentage of evil that creeped in but it was quite much sadly.
It's sad too we won many people to the Lotd and brought them in in a cult afterwards making it that new life of theirs influenced by evil especially after the RNR and beginning of the FF period.
But as some of us if not many realized, it's that we did our best some to really witness for Jesus-Christ sincerely and some of us witnessed rightly when meeting his sheeps talking to them about True Salvation in a GOOD way without the Mo crap attached.
These good deeds were and are still very precious to Jesus Christ and mean a lot to him I'm sure and do it still after leaving the cult is real nice even alone.
So to feel condemned or depressed maybe after realizing we have been part of an evil cult and think we lost all these years we were in there completely isn't true. It was SURELY better than do anything else anyways and we should be PROUD of it havingdone it and maybe still doing it when we can in different ways...! My opinion.
So those moments where we prayed together fervently and sincerely and also sang to Jesus-Christ to thank Him or ask Him something to help our neighbour are I believe GOLD that will stand forever in our Father God's Heart as all good deeds we did and do still surely! :)
