You're right...I guess they were never really honest about the funds & for their silly projects of course they were always short...besides the fact, that the whole tithesystem, unfortunately
for us, happens to be an often used - by evangelicals/fundamentalists etc. - trick to gain more funds...I mean the reference in Maleachi is clearly (to me at least) to the old templeservices & old mosaic law.
