There are more serious criticisms of McCain other than where he was born. One of many things that bothers me about McCain is how he is continually held up as a war hero. The Vietnam war was not a heroic war, no matter how you look at it; it was America at its worst. Dropping bombs from the sky, undoubtedly killing civilians in the process, does not make you a hero. Surviving a war prison camp and torture does not make you a hero, it merely makes you a survivor. You would think his experiences would have turned him into a peace activist instead of a war monger.
