For the historical reasons and no real other evidence on their webside, I doubt, that it has directly to do with TF...one should not be totally "scared" of them, as if they were around every corner.The church I go to, I got to know some member...a real exception...who had run into some SGAs in Italy on vacation, but he was about the only one I yet spoke to, who knew immediately about TF, besides having may be a broader knowledge as a social worker.
On the other hand, there was a time, when they did
invade the churches...that was after I left & may be at some time they stopped that...
With the right attitude, they are anyway not to be feared but to be avoided...& for me that means to say no to anything which is even quite similar to them, even if it should not be them, so to speak
