I can also tell you that several piano masters I was sent to study under tried to have a pedrastic relationships with me. Everybody including my mother knew what was going on, but I was too young to understand at the time. Nobody did anything about it. There was definitely license afforded these pervert artists--they were regarded as "special" and eccentric with some quirks, and that was it. I'm sure things would be different nowadays.
