IMO. I think the ex members researching Dave McKay want to get some definitive data on his links to the Children of God. When he joined, where he joined, how long was he a member, what was his bible name, did he retain an association after he left?
I doubt they (ex Jc's) or us (ex COG/TF) want him on the board.
Heaven doesn't want him and Hell's afraid he will takeover!
However, surely there must be some ex Australian Children of God members that know the answers to these questions and can help the ex JC members?
