thats whats missing--has he really seen the truth of his ego and all the evils he has created from it.
true apology can only come after seeing the light and dark in you and making a choice-free of the ego and its endless needs.(creating slaves of another)
realising that ones ego has created suffering/darkness/ heaviness, repercussions that has manifested in the physical world.
when lightness of spirit is achieved it takes away the weight/burden of ones guilt and the ego isn't needed. The light bannishes the darkness.
a tormented/ outer directed soul can never give true acquaintance and accountancy for ones heart and can never be trusted as it is dominated. And does not know ones true inner self/state.
the irony is if they don't have a true repentance they will be hindered yet again by this guilt and be looking over their shoulders all of there lives as they will never know when or where the tortured fruit of their creations will pop up and demand justice.
