Servant, your empathy continues to underwhelm me. The following statement is the most important thing you wrote:

You begin to understand his viewpoint when you talk about your own experience of being humiliated by another Shepherd higher up in the food chain. But that's the problem: You only understand Watchman's point of view to the extent you experienced something similar. At the same time, you can't seem to remember what you might have done to make him describe you as cruel, even brutal. What is causing your memory to block this out of your conscious awareness?
