By seeking brevity, I miscontrued the exact meaning of your post. I actually agree with much of what you said there. But if I recall the flow of that thread, I was not even implying anyone is obligated to forgive anything at all. Your post did point to the thinking that speaks to the ways in which forgiveness might influence situations.
But you are right. My brief post did not rightly convey the context of your post. I would say "please forgive me" but that appears to be dangerous language. I'll jusy say you are right and I am wrong.
