To even equate them as the same thought? This kind of muddling up comes from someone who doesn't even begin to understand what sorry means. It is typical of people who think once they realize something everybody else has to rally around support their grand accomplishment. There is no respect of boundaries and a lack of distinction between what they feel and what others may feel or have a right to feel. That is lack of understanding for the people they have victimized or hurt. It is classic victimizer mentality.
