I am so glad you are saying this. I was never able to put it into words but this is exactly how I feel.
It bother me when, as Christian as I want to be, that I am put in a naughty box if I don't feel like forgiving a person or an action.
I happen to know people who are so used to ask forgiveness that it means nothing to them. They don't change and keep doing the same thing over and over again.
More power to you and may you find your own peace with or without their help. Let them do the same if they can. You are not responsible.
