Thanks you Coordinator, for setting some perspective on the topic. You are right. As an exmember I am apprehensive about being identified as such. On the other hand, sometimes I wish that I can be free to talk about that with people. I have had bad experiences in the past because of doing just that.
I kind of feel that those whose names are out there should make amends and separate themselves from their past by making it clear to would be detractors that they have changed and that they have addressed the wrongs they were involved or responsible of, and that they are not that same person anymore.
Maybe one solution would be to create a link (page) where a person who wants to "come out" can write their story and explain how they now abhor the teachings they used to promote. That way that page would also be picked up by search engines.
