To anyone who minimizes the physical, social, and psychological damage done to a generation of children who grew up between 1973-1993;
To anyone who has chosen to be willfully ignorant of the serious, disabling, long-term effects of child abuse and neglect on adult survivors and the cost that society must pay for mediating the recovery of The Family's abuse survivors;
To anyone who rationalizes TF's current practice of educational neglect and ongoing cases of sexual abuse that are covered up and not reported to authorities with the argument that TF has cleaned up its act because the most egregious forms child neglect and abuse are no longer a matter of policy and openly sanctioned practice;
To anyone who obfuscates the very real dangers of growing up in a high-demand religious organization under the autocratic leadership of criminals by saying TF is a safe, healthy place to grow up because 1) there is Charter that guarantees absolutely nothing if you pose a threat to members with greater power and prestige, and 2) no one is openly preaching the rape, beating, and abandonment of children and adolescents as a sign of obedience to God's will:
