You make a false comparison between the conversations here seeking some form of justice for those abused in TF and historical witch hunts. The difference is that witch craft is not real, at least not the kind that was the object of persecution in the Inquisitions and in Salem.
In those cases, innocent women were falsely accused, imprisoned, tortured and killed. Millions of innocent women are thought to have been killed in the Inquisitions. Read the Malleus Maleficarum and you will see how completely ridiculous the accusation of witch craft was.
What we are dealing with here is nothing at all like a witch hunt. The abuse that happened to innocent children was real and the abusers were actually abusers, not innocent at all. To level the accusation of "witch hunt" against those discussing ways in which the abusers can be brought to justice is ridiculous, insensitive and hyperbolic, not to mention historically innacurate.
