You know, this is a thankless job. We lay out time and money, continually immersing ourselves in a new cause, in something we should leave behind for our sanity, just to hear snides remarks like this as part of the grind.
In this crowd, for some reason, when we allow digs like that to slip by unanwered, they just become the default, the truth. Years later, things like that come back to us like it was all established fact. One such accusation along the same lines was how we censored Grant Montgomery's name from our site -- but there are almost a hundred mentions of his name here and we were one of the first ones to stand up against him and connect him to The Family () We've bent over backwards to help individuals, and then heard the most ridiculous of accusations come back at us, just because we didn't mind every little fart in our general direction. We thought we'd do our job and let the deeds speak for themselves and be bigger than the pettiness, told ourselves to let it be, it was just venting... but no, that wasn't good enough.
So I am now obliged to ask you the following:
Was that necessary?
Do you have something to say about the webmaster here? (Then spit it out!)
Shall we assume you mean all FGs are automatically suspect and belong to an enemy camp? Are we to assume we should let such comments pass just because you think you've paid your dues as an SG?
Have the people behind this site lacked courage in your opinion?
Has this site not named names and allowed the naming of names? Are the complaints not about how this site is jeopardizing someone's record because it named names? Is there any indication this site is caving in to pressure and will soon remove names?
