The civil lawsuit would be filed on TF's "deep pockets"--parties named in the suit would include the board of directors for World Services, Family Care Foundation, Aurora Productions, Christian Vocational College, and any other visible front organization for TFI. The suit would need to show how these front organizations are holding companies for TFI's assets. That's easier said than done in a court of law, where the first question is: Does this court have jurisdiction over such-and-such corporate entity? The Family's use of front organizations is purposely designed to make a civil law suit difficult to pursue.

It would be impossible to name individual members of TFI as officers of the corporation, so the old timers drooling on their bibs at the local Family home can hang onto their moldy carrots and spoiled cabbage for as long as they want. Successful civil suits again the RC Church have named bishops and board of directors for the diocese. The problem with going after TFI this way is that it doesn't exist "on the books" as a corporate entity--a church, per se. King Pooper would love for TFI to have that kind of legitimacy, because the organization can never gain financial traction without being incorporated into the global economy as a church. That kind of legitimacy for TFI will never happen as long as there's a group of survivors interested in filing a suit against its assets.
