There are certain things search engine bots won't read. You can still display the info so readers can see it, but search engines won't find and as a result catalog any of the hidden info.
You can't protect against cut n paste, but somebody has to know where to find the info, open the page, cut n paste it and/or forward the web-page address to your parent's employers. If anyone is going to resort to that level of malicious intent, they're capable of a lot more that we can't possibly protect your parents from anyway.
Yes, for example, if I can be informed ahead of time that "Homer Simpson" is to be hidden, I can write something into the board scripts to ensure that anytime anyone posts about "Homer Simpson" (spelled exactly like that) it will be hidden. Search engines will never have the chance to pick it up, thus Googling will not point to the page(s).
All important discussions of this nature are left on the site for legal reasons, eventually moved to the archives where they can't be continually discussed (but can still be re-opened for discussion in a new thread).
The next step is for you/them to write me -- see link below left menu.
