I mean we should also be a bit "proud", that we didn't belong to the worst kind of FGers...if that is a possible mindset...I don't mean to negate/deny the "charges" of SGers against the FGers, but all definetely don't have the same "colour"...& it is apparently obvious, that the sexual abusers don't post on boards like these, so it shouldn't be a surprise, that we also argue against collective punishment, whatever that would be anyhow & frankly
by the standards of law I don't think it had any chance anyway in court...& even with the known cases there seems sadly little progress...cause the offenders roam around abroad.+#
I think what is important...in view/response to what also Thinker said...to have a consciousness,
being very sensitive, listening inside, what really went wrong, by "ageold" moral yardsticks & then, if found wanting e.g. deceiving, childhitting, visaextensions etc...what have you (supporting too long the smiling monsters), to admit that to oneself & to others. I bet a lot of that stuff, if legally wrong, is in many countries
not chargeable (collecting funds without liscense etc.) anymore...so one should not be much more uptight about it than the legal system - which we try to follow & adhere to - is seeing fit for it.
I meant most of this as a "cheer up"-reaction, if you didn't do this & that, than be "proud about" it a bit too...I could say something similar of me, that, TG, I didn't take part in the sexual abuse of kids..Teens etc...sure the SGAs tend to get irritated by using simply statistical methods...so & so many claim/were abused makes this much of the whole, ergo every nth FGA has to be a sexual abuser.I like probability-theory to a degree, but it's no proof, that the nth person you talk to, if the others denied by liedetector has got to be a sexual abuser...somewhere there is too little trust in the sayings of the FGAs on these boards here & too much trust in the statistics.(In other words, by stats, we got to have some abusers among us here....yeah, but what if they don't like to post "their mind" here?)
