Thank you for the research...I thought they might have mentioned it somewhere about the winding down of MWM or so (FSM or something)...that shows also, how profitable it'd be to have unpurged lit...but frankly I wouldn't want to read any of that stuff again...I am not that much of an "historian"...
Yeah, Euthanasia is quite an expression: good/nice
death...well, the horrible scenario in Nazi-times was that they selected the people they thought would need a "nice" death...it meant, to get rid off people who would otherwise be a burden on society, either by their "gen-pool" or by caring for them.
The TF-version was, although not equally horrible, nevertheless a horrible attitude: If you can't get the vic, if you can't make it, well, then death might be relief for you. Also sick/uncurable people were a burden on TF & their extremely tight budget...either you get well or out you go.The whole thing was geared for the "super dupers" always good, healthy & so on & so forth.(Especially Berg was sooooo healthy!)On the other hand nobody was "forced" to not take medicals or go not seeing a doctor...it was ideologically/"theologically" frowned upon...people who did not have the "die trusting"-in God attitude were no heroes, weak & so on.What is shocking though in that story about
Phoebe's death is, that they didn't regard her sentiments, of wanting to go to a doctor.
My version was, that since they lived in the Sri
Lankan boonies, they didn't make it in time to see a good doctor or hospital...loosing time with their "faith battle"...anyway it's sad & what is
horrible is, that they didn't regard the feelings of the relatives...they were always "so winsome".
On the other hand...other members also died & I don't think all of them got buried somwhere in the boonies (Berg though)...which shows, that the people at the bottom were a bit saner than the idiots at the top.
