I am at a loss of words...of consolation for someone who has been robbed of her/his childhood & virginity.
Whenever I read biographies of SGAs...mostly at movingon..I was really shattered & in tears...none of you ever exagerated I felt, like TF is suggesting.
Don't expect from liars, cheaters & abusers anything different.We Exers owe you at the minimum a heartfelt response.I don't know, how you all can heal, but I wish it to you all...really!!
Is it, that you're physically very sick now...did I understand that right??I am saddened about that.
Unfortunately it is a lot like Swede put it in his article/post above...TF got people trained, "not to worry about death"...although there is something about it in real faith, yet I believe, we should care for our own bodies/lives, as much as we can & for that of our loved ones....the list of deadones in TF in Swedes list is frightening.
Dear one...I wish you peace, health & a brighter future than your awful past (&even present?).
We thought we were good idealists, but we weren't.We thought we were good Christians, but that is doubtful...by too many bad actions.We had to start all over again, because that "house" of ours collapsed.We have no sufficient explanation of why we failed...may be you take some "consolation" from world history, that at times "good people" do horrible things.I didn't mean to excuse myself, like:I didn't take part in it personally....I stayed way too long & supported those monsters...may be because I was always a rather weak character, not a leader...family type.
Could you say, what should be done for you abused SGAs...the most urgent?...I mean, if the parents are out, they should ask for forgiveness, for having failed in oversight...but if they are still in, it's tough.TF is a dogmatic bunch & only rarely takes back/renounces some doctrine & apologizes...after all they are sooooo prophetic...ugh.
