You are right. The fact that we turned from evil is a good testimony. Also, I have to say that I learned many good things and the experience itself saved me from myself and other more terrible things that I might have gotten involved.
I don't give Berg's teachings any credit for it but Jesus teachings and the willingness of some people to believe on them. I needed bread and the Lord used a devil to bring it to me.
