Incredible, and I was taken in for a while myself...

It was back in the early 1970's. I was about 17-19, alone in Australia while missing my home in the USA.
I had a girlfriend who would sell her body to make ends meet and provide us with narcotics.
Then we meet up with another young couple who tell us about the COG and start flooding us with these booklets that resemble 'underground comics,' many of which were heavily sexual in nature while claiming to be revelations from God.
In our hallucinatory daze, we both fell into this crowd that promised 'love.'
We even used some of 'Moses David's' booklets as sex manuals. When we refused to become part of their scene by having her sell her body in order to raise funds for 'God' we were ostracized and made no longer welcome.
All this happened over a period of under a year, but I have never forgotten the 'Children Of God.' I have never forgotten the absolute creepiness of their insistance that one sells ones body to support the 'church.'
I find it absolutely shocking that all these years later these people are still around and conducting their nefarious warfare against all that is truly moral.
I am pleased that this site exists for those of us who remember the weirdness first hand with revulsion and disgust.
Truly, God bless us all that managed to survive and emerge (mostly) unscathed from the clutches of this truly evil mob.
Let us never forget, we were lied to, and it was not our fault. We were young, naive and being manipulated by a truly evil person and his minions.
