I was never told to actually take of with my kids, even though my first wife did take of with them eventually. It was a mixed up situation at the time. In the end it was left up to me what to do and I was not told to do anything extreme. It did happen though I know. The present policy that is in the charter forbids any interference by anyone in these matters and leaves it up to the people involved to sort it out.
In reading over many of the articles about this Aussie story it seems that the couple involved were both close to the family in Aussie land at some time, though not members.
