I've just read it too and found it interesting. I asked myself which ones of the painful memories I have I would erased and I found a problem. Most of those bad memories are associated with important lessons. Other bad memories remind me of good outcomes. I had read about another treatment that is more psychological and instead of using chemicals or erasing memories, reinterprets the memories to recreate a new attitude and outcome.
