Had problems with opera browser...so I switched to firefox...I wanted to reply to it, but you got already some answers & that is good/better...
For one it shows, that there are things we FGs take for granted as far as our once common background &
"ideologies" & phraseologies is concerned...as you noticed, the hermeneutics & interpretation of win the world...doesn't jive 100%, but is close enough for comfort...I would have given a slightly different answer...but all the while no big difference....what does that tell me also? That many SGs might have known the "technical" correct
answer, but not why the FGs felt/thought that way & why they as SGs should follow in their footsteps
& lastly there are may be some "SG ignoramuses" - only in the sense of FG-semantics & abbreviations...history & so forth - who honestly wouldn't have known the answer...some of Charlies "temper" I derive from the thought, that he might perceive, the last group contains virtually "nil"...no one, who was brought up for longer in TF...
I "like" the quote - sorry, some just stick with me...deep in my memory it seems : You cannot win some, unless you are winsome...
But I would deeply question, how you could win the whole world for Jesus & get that in line with some other quotes of the NT...but you know, TF is believing in universal reconciliation...
Glad, you asked, but I am "afraid", you seek/sought the answer by very deep linguistic definitions...may be??Could you explain?
