What's going on in Thailand

Anyone know? Apparently, a bunch of F. people are leaving because they are having trouble getting their teaching visas. Seems that the Thai government now wants people to have a Bachelor's degree - imagine that! Probably because of that child molester who got all the news when they suspected him of murdering Jon Bennet Ramsey. Anyway, people are leaving it seems for other countries. Just curious if anyone else picked up on any of this.
