Sarah Davidito published a letter in 1986--Liberty or Stumbling Block--a Burn and Read publication where she pointed out that sexualizing kids the Familiy way, especially the girls, was resulting in some problems. 1986 was apparently the first time that leadership heard from enough from the older kids on the subject to get worried. I've heard that a fair number of the kids were talking about suicide as a way out of the Family's sexual revolution during a big retreat held in Mexico during the Spring of 1986. According to Familiy revisionists, November 1986 was when everyone who was diddling the kids should have known it was to stop.
