What's really sad, to me, is reading the blogs of people in the cult when they have moments of honest reflection and try to work out the logical contradictions of their belief system. Problem is, there isn't enough information within the confines of the cult to allow them to see the bigger picture and think outside the box--so they keep going round and round trying to figure out why some idea or doctrine from the leadership doesn't fit their understanding of the Bible or the world as they know it.
