I did a little looking around and this is what I found: The Crime & Investigation Channel in Oz has a series called "Mania" that debuts its weekly episode on Sunday evenings; the same episode is re-run during the day on Monday and late night (11:30 p.m.) on Thursday, which is probably the show you caught.
The website for C&I isn't very extensive--I couldn't look at the network's schedule for the previous week, for example, and there's not a lot of detail about the episodes that are being shown on the "Mania" series. This week's show is about pyromania.
