My daughter has said many of the same things to me. It took me years to finally just listen hearing what she wanted me to know. I stopped trying to make any kind of replies.
As it stands today, we are in relatively good communication. Sometimes we even talk together about the weirdness in Peter and Maria's netherworld.
There's so much I'd like to try to say about my feelings on this subject, and how things have gone with my kids since I've been out. It's an unfinished story and I really can't think of anything more complicated.
