Sometimes I am stunned by the "duh" factor of movingoners who come to the rescue when an SG tells of severe abuse, saying "well so and so was always good to me."
Sigh. Think. In that world, people could be jerked around in status but most still stuck around (unlike a fired CEO). So maybe you got them during a "retraining" when they were a "nobody". Maybe they empathized for once. Or conversely, maybe they were particularly bitter.
Honestly, sometimes I don't know why some people can't put 2 and 2 together. I mean I know TF's math teaching sucked, but if you can quote a verse reference...
