My main point really, was that because of the early exchange, I thought it could have been good for George to apologize after he had a better understanding.
Instead, he just got support to stand his ground. It is this overtone of legalism, after the years that we were all just one big happy family. When you guys made a mistake on NDN, instead of doing the brotherly love thing to do, they just made you guys feel like shit.
They didn't do it intentionally, but after all these posts ironing this out, the NDN moderators are acting just like The Family they criticize.
I read Joseph's response, and have never disagreed with his stand on things.--But he is a business man, who never was in The Family, and never had the years of "everybody was brother and sister".
I didn't really want to get into mud-slinging, until somebody who had no relation to what the posts were about wanted a verbal fight. I didn't want to offend Lydia, which is why I tried to make it a little funny.--But she took it so personal.
You have very well explained what Billee and you went through, and how you were treated. For the moderators and their followers to still defend their legalism, what is going on?
I think all the "ifs" are too late. It is only a lesson on how to go about things in the future, but it is not too late for George to apologize to Billee and you.
Although this doesn't involve me, I did make my apology when I found out you were the one who got the heat from George and Billee (or whoever)!
