Joseph has posted a link to the book now and I think the book will be a great read and both sites are supportive of it.
Posters from both sites are buying it. Some of us have problems with financial resources and that is why I hope somehow the book can come out in print and be even more accessible to the general public because that is where more long lasting and broader support can come from.
I had a mother and grandfather who had Parkinson's Disease and so I am well aware of how devastating that illness can be. It is also very different on how it can affect one person or another.
I don't think there was any intention to hurt or discount anyone from either side of the issue at the beginning, I think it has escalated while people are trying to defend whomever they feel closest to, but that is sad because really no one was ever under attack.
When a person makes a comment there are so many ways it can be read. There are times that I have posted something and didn't realize until I got a really negative reaction that what I posted could be read in a whole other light from how I intended it when I posted.
One thing I am learning to do right now is to ask a question of someone if they say something and it comes across hurtful to me. I am asking: "So are you saying___________?" (whatever I understand them to be saying that comes across as offensive or hurtful to me.)
