The thing with the feebleminded is not so difficult: we were in a cult...the Norm.L people don't seem to get into cults, we did.It takes some crazyness to join.I met a lot of people, who were too sweet, nice,feeble & weak to join, I call them "luckily" normal & good.So for me to mention constantly the agenda to protect someones hurt feelings because of someones abrasive behaviour...well, if you absolutely want to & intend to...pls. have it that way.Abrasiveness is a virtue in the world of some tools, at times it can be good, depending on the circumstances.What I think is a nono, is calling names etc...But what irks me, if all is supposedly perpetuated in the "name of good rules", which you can apparently bend, because this as any other forum/board, is not democratic/powerbalanced, the "board-owners" make rules & enforce them...legislative & judicature in one hand...for me that's fine too...but at least be open to some observations.
Why should Sdwede make some rather insensitive remark like nothing has changed...is he God almighty? to be so sure & know the absolute difference or evenness of the situations involved?
(I thought OT 2 was plenty milder coming back, but he wasn't completely new, like some wanted him apperently to be...after 3 weeks...that's kind of silly.)
I thought that was quite presumptious.As if you can't wound someone like OT 2...and apparently people don't mind here & take part as they like & can & many threads down, I already remarked on it.
Why do you bring up different baords and OT 2 behaviour somewhere else, when he is not allowed to bring up "clashes" from elsewhere?Do you judge others as you want to be judged?Hopefully, but frankly I fail to see it.That's why I say something...chances are there, that me as a foreigner don't get all the subtle differences in wordings, so that I bark up sometimes the wrong tree, however I figure it's enough from what I do understand.
I felt it was highly insensitive of that one poster to reprimand 0T 2 for a rather lengthy personal reply...emphasis on personal...that wasn't hijacking the thread at all, that was just not to the liking of the orignal poster...do we go now by that??You could have chosen to defend 0T 2 there a bit...you didn't... although he opened his heart and shared something about his life...very sensitive indeed...he should have been be more brief...well, than you gave me lots of grace...thanks...because I wasn't brief in my early postings...neither was Perry, who constantly pasted his posts from different sites...wasn't personal at all.
I recently read an interview with a highly controversially debated soccer-coach who in the interview couldn't seem to convince the journalists...he then said: Oh please feel free to keep your prejudices about me...and in this case I'd say, pls. keep the prejudices about OT 2...
I mean, he isn't perfect...who is?He knuckled under a few times without seeing why you wouldn't step in when others crossed the line...This time he asked Swede about it & didn't get an answer, which is typically here anyway...when it get's too hot, people disappear.
