You're absolutely right...don't recall the case anymore, but it sounds so familiar...plus all the guilt feeling, what did you do wrong to "deserve" that child...looking back, I did soooo much wrong (compared with scripture), it's absolute mercy, that I did't have "to pay" much more...
I was thinking about the pros and cons too or how likely the whole scenario would be...what I have doubts about is, that "die-hards" quickly see the light...I mean it took me some hard knocks once out of TF to come to some senses...understanding more & more...don't know, whether there are "better shortcuts"...so in a way it's rather utopia, but still I kind of like the idea...advantage is, that now more material is online availeable, to get a grasp on all the mistakes of TF and from that comes the inner strength, to fight the lies, which perverted us...
still it doesn't look like a quick remedy, even if I wished that. One thing I'd say though is important: TF's selfunderstanding is that of a radical, on fire, avantgarde Christian movement...
people who want to help them, should make them see how unchristian they behave/believe, yet have some
"little praise" & respect for their (though wrong)
dedication left...I mean, talk about babes status or basic training....they'd need complete rewiring
& I doubt, that'd come overnight.
Thanks for your opinion on this
P.S. All that rubbish of having to "live by faith"
= live by lies & pretense really was counterproductive in the longrun...people felt bad, for not being revolutionary enough, having to work ...ugh...horrors...when they could have had a much better platform since long...that's the result, when you have in mind, to be better than the early church....not to speak of the idiotic
pyramidical organisation of power. If they'd want some real chance, they'd have to throw out all that false "prophetic" babbel/blabber they're proud of...like I said, the list is very long & to me it amounts to the question, whether thy love more their longlearned routines or really the Lord, who's worldwide availeable message they clearly perverted.Who's not deeply sorry about that & making also necessary amends, whatever required, would not at all be considered trustworthy by the Exer community, who's by now trained, to look through the false fronts of many a group & sect. And I thought, Jeb has probably hardly started in the "rewiring"....whatever...
