Jewlz, I'm not trying to convince you that there's any hope for TF. But, my thinking right now is that there are hundreds, if not thousands (no stats), of Christian and religious cults that exist today. We were members of ONE. Who's to say that someone might not turn one of those groups around. I don't know if it's ever been done before. The odds, I agree, are against it happening. However, think of Israel, and how many times God warned them against paganism and idolatry. Then Jesus came and drew out those who were His. Now in defense of your view, they had to leave the old-guard of Judaism to survive. Then there's the Roman Catholic church who some tried to reform from within. And they were excommunicated. Hey, I'm arguing you side. What about that!
Maybe you can understand that since I hadn't been in on all the verbal abuse, I was just giving the guy the benefit of the doubt. I don't know him personally, and I was there, too, once. God will prevail ultimately. He allows all of us to rebel and go our own way. Some learn, some don't.
