Dave McKay of The Jesus Christians has been active on NDN a number of times. I've personally argued with him at length regarding how the group encourages it's members to donate kidneys to strangers. It's sort of a radical extension of the "forsake all" concept. Dave thinks it's a kind and loving thing to do. I think that people who are in cults are probably suffering from dimished capacity and should not be encouraged to give up body parts while in that condition. Dave, of course, does not agree.
