Yep, gotta watch out for our animal friends! The geneology is very time consuming and expensive, but fascinating. I read up a lot on history too and am now finding that fascinating. Who would have thunk - me who loathed history in school.
I've been putting the pieces together of our family history that my mom left behind. Now that we have only 1 child left in the house and we live out of town, I have the free time to do it. Do you still have the same email address? I'm not sure that I have it. Email me and I will email you back the link to my geneology web page and you can see what I'm doing. I've found old pictures and with my researching am discovering who they are. Looking through U.S. census and ship logs, I've found out when relatives came, who they lived with, who their chidren are, etc., etc. I've found old newspaper articles, military records, death records that say who father and mother are. It's like a big puzzle with little pieces and when I find a piece that fits, it's so exhilerating. I'm loving it.
