Now days they are having videos (DVD) and music (CD) to sale. Are they more sophisticated to target specific markets? I read a while back about some young members getting some sort of education outside the family, is that true? I mean, going to learn photography or art or computers, etc. might not be too far out for some of the elite WS crew who are already sold out believers. Or are they still gaining disciples who have degrees and a certain level of education?
Maybe they still pay some of the old timers who don't want to live in their "colonies" anymore and have become some sort of "exer" but had some useful skills like drawing, writing, etc. and give them some money on the side. It is a win-win situation. I think there was a report on some people doing something like this, was Eman Artist one of them?
These people get to be outside of TF, call themselves "exers" and do what they were doing all along, only this time with pay.
This sophistication is covered up by their still inflated stats. They get to keep the image of an inoffensive cult that knows little about business and yet they have this tremendous sophistication of a transnational mafia covering all kinds of illegal and criminal activities from child kidnapping and trafficking to money laundering and tax evasion.
This image creation was already rampant since the early days when provisioners would get all dressed up and nicely shaved and pretty clothes to tell "systemites" about the hippies who they were helping. The "hippies" were encouraged to live in pitiful conditions, unshaven and one-a-week shower, to give credence to that image. We were all part of that con and TF is still running the same con. The stats is only the tip of the iceberg, the real BERG is covered by the water, invisible to the eyes of the public. Part of that is the level of the sophistication in their operations.
