I have had very similar experiences. But, you know, we may think that we've offended someone when they don't choose to respond to our questions or comments, but it could be that they are just very busy. I have worried in the past about being too assertive in my comments, but I've finally learned to blow off the blow hards and disingenuous types. I still care about them on a spiritual level, and often pray for people on the boards that are the most difficult to love. There are probably posters who feel the same about me, so, hopefully, they're praying for me, too. Sometimes I begin to feel, however, that others are not being as candid with me as I am trying to be with them. I'm often surprised at how quickly people shut down when a subject it broached that makes them uncomfortable with themselves.
