I feel, as you, that posting under another id is not a problem, and can help advance the conversation if bias against the poster can be eliminated or softened. My gripe, and this may give away my identity to some extent, is mainly with male posters who are threatened by females that challenge their opinions, and who can reason equally as well, if not better.
