Well, I remember reading about this, but the specifics are lost to me at the moment. The gist of it is, they can arrest people a lot easier than the U.S. can. They can go on a lot less, or less court orders, or something like that. However, it has gotten them into trouble, remember the film with Daniel Day Lewis about the Irish family that got bamboozled into being IRA members when they weren't anything of the sort? That was a sad film. In everything there is always good and bad. In this case, they were able to get the 22 bombers BEFORE they did anything. That was a good thing. Anyway, as I remember it, our constitution or our adament stance on privacy, freedom, all that, would not have allowed it.

Who knows about Abi Freeman. I'm sure she's been responsible for some stuff, they just didn't have enough evidence to convict her. And what about the English court case? That would have never happened in the U.S. that child would not have been allowed back to TF with all that came out about TF and the sexual liberties with children, etc. Britain has some strange laws.
