I've looked into getting a digitized video copy of that 1972 documentary for the xfamily site. It would cost around $300 to get a copy made from the network archives. I think it's the property of CBS--I can't remember off the top of my head which network produced it--but I have located it and inquired about the cost of a copy, which is pretty much out of my charitable gift-giving range.
How did you know Faithy was lying? Did she deny Berg's affair with Maria? I can't remember that part, except that she was all emotional and teary-eyed.
If I recall correctly, the 1972 documentary reports some former members' testimony that also appears in an investigative report published by the NY Attorney General's office in 1974. I think the documentary co-incided with the onset of the formal investigation in New York State. What went on at the Ellenville colony rocked a few boats. See:
