The Family had "Babe's ranches" and "Babe's Classes" before ranches to teach the "milky stuff" to anyone that joined. I was not aware either of anything sexual going on when I was recruited. I experienced the same sort of thing. I think pretty much everyone did with few exceptions. I think people that were exceptions and who Berg reached out and touched when things were as you described, probably felt like they were extra special in God's eyes. There were a few cases in the news recently of women who got involved in large ministries that were pretty well known and then were abused by the pastor. They were adults that went through the same mind manipulation we did. The congregation at large did not know.
Berg introduced his "Law of Love" and "One Wife" and "FF" doctrines over time. So being out in the dark was not something only those who were brought in via other Jesus People movements experienced.
I do remember being aware of the attitude in the family being one of us being more sold out and absorbing those other ministries, JPA, House of Judah etc. were seen as the more dedicated winning over disciples of those other leaders who were viewed as weak. One of them became a leader for quite sometime and that was "Esther" or Linda M. who had previously worked with David Wilkerson.
